Garjiya Devi Temple

Garjiya Devi Temple is one of the most famous Shakti shrines in Uttarakhand, located near Ramnagar in Nainital district. Dedicated to Goddess Garjiya (a manifestation of Goddess Parvati/Durga), the temple sits majestically on a large rock in the middle of the Kosi River.

This sacred shrine attracts thousands of devotees every year, especially during Kartik Poornima (November–December), when a grand fair is organized. Surrounded by lush forests and the gushing Kosi river, it is also a popular spiritual and tourist spot for visitors to Jim Corbett National Park.
