Garjiya Devi Temple is one of the most famous Shakti shrines in Uttarakhand, located near Ramnagar in Nainital district. Dedicated to Goddess Garjiya (a manifestation of Goddess Parvati/Durga), the temple sits majestically on a large rock in the middle of the Kosi River.
This sacred shrine attracts thousands of devotees every year, especially during Kartik Poornima (November–December), when a grand fair is organized. Surrounded by lush forests and the gushing Kosi river, it is also a popular spiritual and tourist spot for visitors to Jim Corbett National Park.
